Ready Sight Go provides professional development through in-service trainings and workshops for general and special education teachers. We also offer on-site support for Teachers of the Visually Impaired to help improve workflow efficiency and streamline scheduling. In addition, we consult with school administrators on strategies to maximize staff capacity, improve service delivery, and reduce costs when working with existing personnel or partnering with vision services vendors.

Visual Impairment Learning Experience

Most sighted people cannot imagine what it’s like to perform basic tasks in an unsighted or visually impaired world. This workshop puts teachers in the student’s chair, performing basic tasks like finding your seat, learning, and eating under a sleep shade. This experience is designed to help Instructors understand from a student's perspective and help them creatively problem-solve ways to better teach students with visual impairments.

Adapting Tactile Materials

Curriculum can be delivered in multiple ways, including in tactile forms. In this workshop, you will learn how to better adapt materials for students with visual impairments using different techniques, tools, and methods and the reasons behind them.
